Don't Go Home: It's Homecoming Weekend!

You guessed it!  It's homecoming weekend at Slippery Rock University, and who's ready for some football festivities?  Here's some events you won't want to miss out on!

Homecoming Pep-rally
Beginning 8pm tonight, Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, there will be a pep-rally held in honor of homecoming. This celebration will take place in the ARC.  If that alone isn't enough excitement to get you there, there will be a special performance from Slippery Rock's favorite hip hop dance team, Jamrock!  Homecoming court will also be announced at the pep-rally.

Homecoming Parade
Make sure you grab all of your friends and come out to see your peers Saturday morning in the annual homecoming parade.  This year's parade theme is Past, Present, and Future in honor of the 125th year celebration of SRU.  The parade will begin at 10am and will travel up Main St.  Fortunately blankets and chairs will not be needed this year due to the beautiful weather forecast.

after that head up to the…
Homecoming Football Game
This is unarguable one of the most exciting games of the season.  Watch as Slippery Rock University's football team takes on Seton Hill at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.  Don't be late because kick off is at 2pm.  Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at the game.
